Emilee Arnold is a visual journalist attending Western Kentucky University in the Mahurin Honors College in her home city of Bowling Green, Ky. She plans to graduate with a B.A. in photojournalism in May 2025.

In summer 2023, Emilee interned through the Kentucky Press Association with Appalachian Newspapers, Inc., covering five eastern Kentucky and West Virginia counties. Her work has taken her throughout the state and beyond, from flood sites to religious communities and tornado survivors' homes.

Emilee is also a current staff photographer for the Talisman, WKU's student-run life and culture publication. She was previously a staff photographer and photo editor for the College Heights Herald and a photographer for WKU's Center for Gifted Studies.

When not taking photos, Emilee enjoys exploring new parts of the city (and countryside), listening to music, and documenting local wildlife.
